 UCAS

At Dr Challoner’s we aim to provide comprehensive support and guidance to those applying to university. We have dedicated staff committed to equipping the students to make informed and ambitious choices. The school is proud of the fact that the vast majority of our year 13 leavers go on to study at universities across the country and in a wide range of subjects. In 2011 80% of leavers achieved places at their 1st choice university with most now studying at some of the top universities in the UK.

UCAS Coordinator: Miss Wright
Deputy Head Girl for UCAS: Flora Stevenson
Connexions adviser: Mrs Goodyear

All of the UCAS and Careers team are available to answer questions, help with course decisions and work through the UCAS form with students. Further more the team works in school to remind you of deadlines for applications and pre-university tests and organise mock interviews for all those who wish to have one.

Extra advice is on hand through a careers library containing all undergraduate prospectuses and through an individual referee to give guidance on both subjects and university choices. Referees also check and advice on your personal statement, and write your reference.
