Sports Partnerships at Challoner's High

Sub-Menu

The Sports Partnership at Challoner's High provides an extensive range of sports festivals and clubs for nearly 30 local primary and secondary schools.  We strive to continue developing our already strong relationships with primary schools and providing Festival opportunities for all children, no matter their previous experience or ability.

Catherine Sole

I have been a PE Teacher in Buckinghamshire for 10 years where I have worked in 3 different schools in the area. I took on the role of the Sports Coordinator in September 2017 where I am based at DCHS and Chiltern Hills. This role has allowed me to be involved in working with primary age children developing their core skills to prepare them for different sporting activities.  The festivals that we run are inclusive to all, giving the pupils experience in a fun safe environment. In my spare time I go to the gym regularly, play football and run.

Susie Lyons

I have been a PE teacher for 28 years now, firstly in Sussex before coming to Buckinghamshire 18 years ago. I have been the Sports Partnership Teacher Release for The Misbourne for 8 yearrs. I also work at an independent predominantly Special Needs School in Berkhamsted and feel very fortunate to have these two varied roles to keep me busy! I work closely with The PE Department at The Misbourne who organise the leaders for the Festivals for me and it is always a pleasure to pass on the positive comments from the Primary Staff regarding their enthusiasm and maturity. In my free time I ride my horse and I still play netball competitively in the Aylesbury League with a lovely bunch of ladies who live in the same village as me.

Amy Harding

I have been working at The Chalfonts Community College for 2 Years. I have 4 years' worth of teaching experience and have previously worked as a swimming teacher, and as football coach to Under 9's. I have taken on the Sports Partnership whilst Nicki is away on maternity leave and am really excited about this new journey.

Nicki Charge

I have been working at The Chalfonts Community College for 11 Years and have been in the Partnership role for 4 years. I thoroughly enjoy the Partnership role and creating opportunities for young people to get involved in physical activity. The festivals are always the highlight of the term for me as they provide such a fantastic opportunity for students to get active and for Sports Leaders to demonstrate their capabilities. I look forward to returning from Maternity leave in 2018 to continue and develop the partnership role even further.
