About the PA



The DCHS Parents’ Association is an independent registered charity run by volunteer parents.

We run events that help build the school community, and fund projects which will enhance the girls’ experience of school life. We also support events run by the school, such as Open Evenings, Certificate Presentation Evenings, and New Parents’ Socials.

There are lots of ways to get involved: come along to our events, or join a team to make one of them happen; buy a ticket for our monthly prize draw; or make use of the second hand uniform shop. Get in touch to find out more. Follow us @DCHS_Parents

PA Committee Meetings

Parents on the PA Committee meet once a month to plan events, and to decide how the money should be spent. In 2015-16 we contributed £25,000 to the Courtyard Café and £13,000 to refurbishment of toilets. Our current focus is upgrading the dining facilities, with 2017-18 fundraising adding to last year’s total of over £30,000. These projects benefit all our girls throughout their time at Challoner’s High. 

All current Challoner's High parents are welcome to attend.

Meetings are held at school, usually on the first Monday of each month, 7.0-approx 8:30 pm

Dates confirmed for 2017-18: 7 September, 2 October, 6 November, 4 December

Our AGM will be held on Monday 4 December 2017 at 7:00 pm
