As a member of our thriving Chemistry Department, the Technician plays a vital role in providing technical support for the delivery of the Chemistry curriculum and management of the Department's resources, including through supporting practical lessons. We have flexibility with your start time (from 8am – 9.30am) and with days of the week.
The successful applicant will be well suited to preparing Science materials, lessons and practical activities and will enjoy providing our teachers with great customer service. We have a wonderful opportunity to work as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) as part of our friendly and very capable special educational needs (SEND) and pastoral team. The role will provide learning support to individuals and groups of students. It is essential that the successful candidate can also complete routine record keeping and admin. The post will suit someone with a friendly and supportive disposition and with a real commitment to providing the best possible support for young people, and an enthusiasm to develop SEND knowledge and expertise. The girls are a real privilege and joy to work with!
We have some flexibility: any two days except Tuesday; and start time of 8.05am – 8.35am and finish time of 2.35pm to 3.45pm (to total 12 or 13 hours per week, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day).

Library Assistant

We are looking for a Library Assistant to support and promote our thriving Library and more widely our school’s reading for pleasure culture. The role includes working with our Librarian to organise and manage all centralised learning resources including books and other media within the School Library, and to assist students and supervise silent study.
The successful applicant will be a keen and regular reader, with a passion for encouraging reading in young people, and more widely promoting learning and education. They will have a broad knowledge of books/literature that students might enjoy, will be able to set a studious, warm and friendly environment in the Library, and will have strong administrative skills.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Administrator to join our Sixth Form and Careers team. The postholder will develop and deliver opportunities for Sixth Form and Year 10 and 11 students through our Connections (alumnae) Programme, coordinating careers talks, mentoring, work experience and other enriching events that inspire ambition and broaden horizons.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and accurate administrator, an excellent communicator and someone who enjoys working with young people, bringing creativity and warmth to the role. A core part of the job is organizing a weekly programme of careers-related lunchtime events presented by visiting alumnae for our students, and so events organization and the ability to build relationships quickly with students and external stakeholders is essential. The role includes supervising our lovely Sixth Form students as they study one morning per week (8.30am – 11am; a day of your choice. Later start on other 2 days fine), providing an opportunity to support them and receive feedback and ideas for the Connections Programme.

You will be responsible for planning and organising cover for absent teachers, and all room changes for events, lessons, clubs and meetings, ensuring clear communication and efficient processes. The role involves developing a detailed understanding of the operations of a large and highly busy school, helping to ensure that it runs very smoothly and efficiently, so building good relationships with a wide range of staff is very important.
