Class Reps play a vital role in the parent and school community at Dr Challoner's High School. They are instrumental in keeping parents and students in contact with one another, and providing a social network with their form group. The most important requirement for a class rep is an enthusiastic approach to creating and maintaining strong links between the girls and parents in their form. Most forms have two or three reps working together.
Our Parent Volunteer Hub enables parents to get involved in our many volunteering opportunities, based on their time and interest.
This could be to lead or be part of a one-off event, to get involved supporting school socials, school productions/music events, join our fund-raising initiative or just help out on an ad hoc basis. Please click here for further details.
A team of volunteers run this scheme. Vouchers from Tesco, Sainsbury’s and John Lewis are purchased in bulk at a discount and then are sold at face value. The school benefits from the full amount of the discount. We need parents to sign up for the scheme and volunteers to help with distribution.
Music Link volunteers raise funds for and offer practical support to the school’s successful Music Department. The group meets once each term and is very keen to recruit new parents who will support the Music Department in a practical way.
