Junior Maths Challenge

Congratulations to all of Year 8 for their participation in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. Particularly well done to those who attained an award, the following are to be commended for achieving a Gold Award: Isobel Swann (Best result in the year), Sophie Clarke, Kalyani Pujara, Faye Corey, Susannah Catling, Phoebe Wood, Laura Hollister, Manasi Kumar, Natasha Joseph, Shreyasi Kesarwani, Julia Hammond, Molly Silvester, Amelie Brown, Lizzie Watson, Shree Iyengar, Rishika Hundal, Simran Chotai, Millie Hughes, Elisabeth Franks, Vaishnave Dokka, Lucy Adams, Annie Dugaeva, Bela Bhagat and Flo Osborne. A number of these girls have been invited to participate in follow-up rounds, and we look forward to seeing how they progress in these. Miss de Alwis, Head of Maths 

Aegon Tennis

Year 8 and Year 10 Aegon tennis teams played against Wycombe Abbey on Thursday night. It was fantastic play by all the girls against fierce opposition. The Year 8 team lost 2 -10 and the Year 10 team lost 0 -12. Well played to all the girls . 

Wicked Young Writers

Charis Patterson has been selected as a finalist for the Wicked Young Writers Award in the age 11-14 category. Last year they received around 5,000 entries, and they choose 20 finalists in each of 5 age categories. Many congratulations to Charis! 

Chalfont St Giles and Jordan's Literary Festival

Aamina Mahmood in Y10 has come second in this competition. Aamina and her class worked on creative writing in English and sent some entries in just before Easter. Congratulations to Aamina! 

QuadKids

On Thursday 19th May, 9 teams from our School Games area came and competed in Quadkids Athletics for Y5 & 6 children. 37, Yr 8 Leaders were tasked with running the event and smashed the challenge! The girls gave all the athletes much encouragement and carried out their roles in a very professional way. 

A huge thank you to them all and congratulations to CSPA who won the event and go onto the County Final on 1st July.
